vs. jersey shore
I live in Phila.and have been going to the
jersey shore my whole life. for those of
you that have been to both is it REALLY
worth the extra 5 or 6 hour drive to go
to the obx. trying to make up my mind for

Subject: Charleston
vs Outer Banks
My husband & I are considering a fall
trip this year and can't decide between
Charleston and the OBX. We've never visited
either place and would want to stay at least
2 weeks so as not to have to run around
trying to get everything in during a short
period (after all, vacations should be at
least somewhat relaxing, right?). One positive
for us in Charleston's favor is that it
is 5 hours closer. What are your thoughts
on the subject? I'd appreciate any opinions
pro or con for either place. Thanks so much

Banks vs Willaimsburg, vs Myrtle Beach
We are a family of 4; 2 girls 9 & 12,
the young one scared of dogs. We are paralyzed
in making a decision at the last minute
on tight budget. Orland would be an easy
choice, fly, stay cheap, take the kids to
Disney. Verrry Hot, But also want them to
see other parts of America. Live in North
Jersey, struggling like most to make ends
meet, want to do right by our kids. Suggestions

banks vs. cape cod?
how many people on this board have also
gone to cape cod? the way people describe
the outer banks it souds similar. I would
like to get people's thoughts. I am trying
to plan a family beach trip. We live in

Subject: OBX
vs. Florida
Since the OBX is the only beach I've ever
visited, people are constantly telling me
that I need to go to Florida. I realize
that Florida is probably gorgeous, but I
just can't tear myself away from the OBX.
I really have no desire to go to Florida
since everything I want and need in a vacation
is in the OBX. Every time someone tries
to sell me on Florida, I point out the number
of Florida license plates we see in the
OBX. What are your thoughts? Read
