Subject: Loved It!!!

Just got back from my 1st trip to the Outer Banks and I absolutely fell in love with the area. I will be back! We stayed in Nags Head, drove up to Duck and took the ferry to Ocracoke. Great people, great restaurants! We all got addicted to searching for sea glass and couldn't walk up the beach without looking down!

My feelings exactly! It's like our "home away from home" only it's vacation, so much better!!! I never get bored. So much nature to enjoy!

So glad you had a wonderful time. We've been coming down for over 40 years and I guess you could say we are adicted to the salty air, the laid back atmosphere and the beautiful sea. Of course a little fishing thrown in along with some shell hunting doesnt hurt.

What exactly is Sea Glass. I've been coming for years and never heard of it. Were going in July. Please explain what to look for.

It's broken regular glass from bottles, for example, often colored, that has been "softened" or "frosted" by the action of the waves and sand. Look for any stones or shells that have unusual color.
