Subject: waterfront restaurants on Hatteras
Can anyone recommend some good waterfront
restaurants on Hatteras. Staying in Frisco area and would love to try some good restaurants instead of eating in every night.

There are no oceanfront restaurants on Hatteras - The Downunder was the only one until the last big storm. The restaufants are soundside. Many have good views for a beautiful sunset. The Pilot House in the Buxton and Frisco area is a good place to go.

Austin Creek Grill in Hatteras on soundfront next to the ferry is GREAT!

Try Sandbar and Grille, on the highway between Buxton and Frisco. It has a great sound view with a nice deck, especially at sunset. Quarterdeck is located just south of Frisco--not waterfront, but great seafood and very homey atmosphere.
