Subject: OBX in the Fall

Just booked a condo for the week of Sept 23-29. We were in Nags Head in May and had great weather, what is the weather like in Sept?

Assuming no hurricanes the weather then is terrific. Traffic is light and everything is still open.
You'll have a wonderful time.

We have gone in Sept for 17 years and honestly have always had beautiful weather even when the forcast called for clouds or rain! Its still warm, the water is great and no crowds. In all those years we only had to leave twice for hurricanes. We wouldnt have it any other way!

Our first fall trip was in October. You couldn't ask for better weather. September should be great.

Off season is great. We tried early march this year. It was cold, but awesome.

You shouldn't have any problems go to the surfing competitions during that week in Hatteras. You'll have a blast! Weathers kool.
