Subject: Weather in October

This year we decided to visit in Sept or Oct. The house we want to rent is only available (now) in October. How is the weather that time of the year. Any real problems with visiting in October? We realize we wont be getting the tans & sweating like usual, but we just need to go & see the ocean.

You won't sweat as much but you can sure tan. Barring hurricanes, October is wonderful down here--most everything is still open, and the crowds are gone.

I go the first week in October every year. It's my favorite time of the year.Shorts in the day and a sweater or jacket at night.Perfect and no crowds and incredible peace! Enjoy!
