Subject: Beach jeeps of Corolla
Has anyone taken the GPS guided jeep tour with Beach Jeeps of Corolla, it looks like a lot of fun.

They do not have any prices lists. Does anyone know the cost?

thanks

We took a wild horse tour with Back Country Outfitters last summer. It wasn't a GPS tour, but rather a tour in a suburban with a guide. We saw over 40 horses. The guide was a girl from the area, so we learned a lot about the whole area, not just the beach where the horses were. It lasted about 3 hours, and it cost $75 for my husband and me. We shared the truck with another lady and her two kids.

Yep, it was $150 per car for roughly 2 hours. We didn't see any horses but had a blast doing it. The owner and workers were really nice though and it made the fact we didn't see any horses OK!

You will have fun. You will see more horses in the late spring and early summer.

Do they charge for young kids to ride as well? Or is a group rate?

They charge $150 for two hours. They will give you some instructions and you will follow the GPS system to see the sights of Carova. The jeeps do have a back seat however it's small, two friendly adults or 3 children. I am not sure if there is a center seat belt or not. (I think not).
Have fun!!!!

We rented 2 Jeeps last year. That price is correct. We wanted to just ride on the beach, stop, pick up shells, fish etc. We did see some horses right on the beach. 2 years ago we took the "tour". We saw lots of horses but spent little time on the beach. Wanted the beach experience more. For doing it yourself, the Jeep rentals are fun and well worth it.
Wish we had them for more than 2 hours.
