Subject: Corolla Light

We are considering renting in Corolla Light. From the messages I have read, the resort offers alot for families.

What other activities does Corolla offer? Is there shopping for teen girls?

Also, how far is the drive to Duck?

We are looking for a 3/4 bedroom rental in Corolla Light for $1500. Is this possible? Does anyone have any recommendations in this price range?

There are some very nice shops at TimBuck Too. Which is near the Lighthouse. Duck is 20 to 25 minutes South on 12. This will very depending on time of year and day. (65% of rentals turn on Saturdays so from 10AM to 2PM travel is heavy going south)

You probably will not find beach front for $1500. There are some nice homes that would fall into your range especialy if you rental before the 15th of June of after the 15th of August however these weeks are the first to rent. Good Luck

There are plenty of homes available for that price (or around that) in Corolla Light, you just have to look for them. What dates are you looking at? You may not be able to get oceanfront but close. Especially in Corolla Light Oceanside is not a far walk at ALL to the beach no matter where it is.

There are plenty of shopes between TimbuckII, Monteray Shores and a few other misc. plazas throughout Corolla Light.

You may want to check out Currituck Club Area too. Lots of amenities.

We like the Lighthouse Villas in Corolla light a lot! Most are very close to the ocean, shopping, & pools!

Corolla Light is great and so is Brindley. Corolla Light Resort has activities for the whole family, 3 Ocean Pools & playground, an indoor Sports Center for rainy days, and access to the beach. THere are also tennis courts & bike trails, and lots more -- We have been going to Corolla Light for at least 12 years. The last couple of years we have rented through Brindley and we think they are great!
