Thanks,

Camp Hatteras, KOA in Rodanthy next door or Ocean waves in Waves all in the same area.

We went with Camp Hatteras.
And it was great. Very clean and nice sites. Even had WI-FI and cable TV.

Thanks for the info.

KEEP IN MIND, BEING CLOSE TO OCEAN IS GREAT DUE TO WALKING DISTANCE, BUT WINDS AT THE OUTER BANKS CAN BE BAD AND WITH THAT COME MORE SAND BLOWN NEXT TO OCEAN

We love Ocean Waves. It's small and very clean. It's probably better for folks who don't have young children, since there's not a lot of amenities, but it's a great place to stay if you want to be away from the hsutel and bustle of some of the larger campgrounds. The owners take great care of the grounds, and the beach is just a short walk over the dunes.
