Subject: relocation to OBX/NC
Coming to NC for a job interview at one of the hospitals in the area, in Elizabeth City....however I would want to live close to the banks, for the schools of Currituck and such... I am looking for a reasonably priced home to rent for a year that is 3-4 bedrooms...any ideas where to look for rentals besides the paper and some of your real estates companies?

Stay near Eliz City. The banks are way too expensive, you can always come here to visit on weekends.

There isn't much to rent between Eliz City and the Outer Banks, and the Outer Banks is too expensive, even out of season.
Elizabeth City has some very nice housing stock, and I'm sure some realtor will take the time to help you to get your business when you are ready to buy.
Ask your future coworkers about rentals and schools etc.
Here are recent ads from the Eliz City Advance. The rental in Powells Point is in Currituck County between Eliz City and the Outer Banks.
Good Luck

Click on For Rent to see some possibilities. Southern Shores is a great town.
The Outer Banks schools are Dare County schools.
