Subject: Bike Rentals

Are bike rentals fairly available...or should we bring our own? We would rather save the cargo space.

We did a little research and the rentals average about $40 per bike ($50 with kid seat). Ocean Atlantic & Money's Worth were the two bigger outfits. We decided against bringing our own and renting as we are staying in Salvo and it's all road driving. I guess there are bike paths up north.

Many places to rent a bike, save your space. You should say where you are staying, but there are bike rentals all over the area.

We rented a bunch of things through Ocean Atlantic. The prices were reasonable and they delivered and retrieved everything for free. It was great to just have our equipment there when we arrived!

You can take the bike trail north into Duck. Nice ride.
