Subject: what's in salvo ?
We usually stay up in Coralla, and this year we are staying in Salvo. Everybody says it is very nice, dies it have any similarities to Coralla. I loved Timbuck II, is there anything like that? And what about crabbin down in Salvo, we would go to the Whalehead club.

They both have an ocean to the east, that is about the only thing you will see as similar. Salvo is a little slower pace.

as noted before, there isnt much to do around there, its ust the opposite of corolla. so sshops are in both areas, different resturants, and a more relaxed atmosphere

you can not compare Salvo to Coralla in any way but the ocean like has been said - It is very nice down here but you will relize to enjoy it you will have to slow down because this is Hatteras Island and everything is done and enjoyed at a way different pace - so get ready for a very new experience and have fun! -

We've stayed in either Rodanthe, Waves or Salvo every year for the last 8 years and we would never stay anywhere else. The beaches are less crowded. It's quieter. The drive back up to Nags Head or down to Avon for restaurants or shopping is not bad at all. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in the Outer Banks. Can't wait til September 3rd for our vacation!!
