Subject: Moving to Outer Banks
I wanted to look into the possibility of moving to the Outer Banks. I've been going there since I was a kid and absolutely love it. I am an accountant and was wondering what type of job opportunities are there? Are there any jobs there in the accounting field that would pay well enough to have a decent living there?

Being in the realestate business I once showed property to an accountant who also wanted to move here. She looked into jobs vs income and decided she had better stay in Baltimore making what she does there and maybe she can afford a 2nd home here. She said if she moved here she would be able to afford much.

If you find you need a second job down here, there are a ton of motel/hotel night auditor positions available to supplement your salary..
I'm sure there are plenty of unadvertised jobs available.
You come down here, meet people, and opportunities pop up, especially among not so small touristy businesses. It takes a while, but it will happen.

I wouldn't be this positive for a lawyer seeking to come, and I am one.
Go for it, and best of luck.
