Subject: BBQ in Duck

Trying to find a place that has great BBQ &all the fixens that we can take out for a group of 20 people.

I would either go up to TimBuckII and go to Sooey's or stop at Hot Cotton across from the Hilton in Kitty HAwk.

I agree, Corolla Village BBQ is very good. We drove there twice from Carova Beach during our stay. You might want to call ahead for that large of an order.

I live in Duck and think Pigman's is the best. There is a new Sooeys BBQ in Scarborough Faire, too.

Sooey's in Duck was good, suprisingly consistent with the Timbuck 2 location, but much smaller. Try it if you can find it.

corolla village bbq is without a doubt the absolute best, pigmans is gone and was garbage to begin with duck deli bbq is terrible and sooey's is ok at best sooeys has excellent fried chicken and a buffalo chicken sandwich but it stops there, for the best smoked ribs chicken and easter nc bbq you MUST go to corolla village bbq end of story!

The only reason Sooey's is the best in Duck is because High Cotton is in Kitty Hawk. That place has it all! Great food, great staff and can accomodate our group of 30 people. If you want BBQ, it is a must!

We have had BBQ at Duck Deli. And it was very good. We tried Sooeys in Corolla last night and I thought it was very greasy. There was a grease puddle on my plate under it. I had their Southern fried chicken and that was better then the BBQ. First and last time there for me.
