Subject: Harris Teeter vs. Food Lion
I love Harris Teeter, but around here it is more expensive than Food Lion. I'm assuming it is in Corolla too? Anyone have any thoughts/experience on that?

So what if a post discussed this earlier - this person had a question. Yes it is a little more expensive but they have a better selection. Enjoy your trip.

Get ready. EVERYTHING is more expensive in OBX. Not horribly more, but it is a simi-island resort, so things will cost more.

actually I live in pgh and have found your prices to be the same, if not less. Gifts and gadgets, beach accessories, etc, are defintely cheaper.

Was in Corolla last week and went to both stores....seemed like since the Harris Teeter just opened they had more "on sale", and not that it probably matters much, but that Harris Teeter might be the nicest grocery store I;ve ever been in in my life!!
