Subject: Harris Teeter Grocery Store

I heard that a Harris Teeter was opening on the OBX. Does anyone know where it is? Is it open yet?

It just opened last Wednesday. It's huge and very nice inside, and it should free up a lot of time rather than getting your needs at that crazy Food Lion up the street. They are located near the enterance of the Currituck Club, just about a mile or so north of the Hampton Inn on the left when traveling north.

The other one will open in KDH at Eight St which is right on the Nags Head/KDH town line - MP 10

Wonderful! I live in Virginia and we used to have Harris Teeter (which I loved) but a few years ago, all of our HTs went to North Carolina and all of your Krogers came here. There are 5 Krogers within 8 miles of my house.

I drove by a HT today, in lower Nags Head, which was still under construction. It is the only HT I've seen down on OBX. Granted, I was looking for one either.

They have completely remodled and enlarged it. They are set to open in early MAY. Harris Teeter has great selections and quality stuff but a little on the "pricey" side.
