Reverend Jay Bowman www.myouterbankswedding.com
He performed our ceremony on the beach in South Nags Head last September. My family and friends are still talking about him. Our ceremony was fun, romantic, spiritual and everything we hoped it would be. Congratulations on your wedding.

I second 62482! Jay Bowman married my wife and I in 2007 and the wedding was awsome. It was everything we wanted. Not sure about what you're doing for pictures but check out Kristi Midgette!

Go to Good Life Gourmet in KDH. Used them for our wedding to cater, however Steve the owner hooked us up with a Minister who also did our cake and Mike a great DJ. turned into a one stop shop everything came out excellent thanks to the team effort.

We used Jay as well and we couldn't have asked for anything more! We used Ashley's Photography for our photos. You can check her out if you want.Catering we made just about everything except the cake. Wonderful day for me and my husband!

thanks all so much for the info! checked out both websites and Rev. banks directed us to the wedding association website for even more choices. We have pretty much decided on using his services. Like the idea of being married on the Outer Banks and having our license signed by a Rev. Banks!

we made a bunch of finger foods becasue we did not do a sit down dinner since our budget didn't allow for it. Chicken, tenders, pigs in a blanket, half sandwiches, mini cup cakes. There was a pretty good spread of food and it wasn't all too expensive.

We used Jay as well. One thing you have to check though, which we found out the hard way. check the tide charts. We ended up having to get married on the porch of our house because a North East wind was blowing the water almost up to the dune line at high tide. I didn't even think of it until the week we were there. We go every year in May and the weather can be unpredictable, so you never know if you are going to get that wind that will change all of your plans in minutes.

Sorry to hear that. What town were you staying in? My fiance and I made a special trip just to check on the beach size at the short list of homes we were considering. We picked one in Salvo because the beach size there was so much bigger than in the Nags Head/Kitty Hawk or even Northern Beaches. Unfortunately, the tide will still be high the afternoon of our wedding, but hopefully the extra beach size will still give us some room.
