Subject: NAGS HEAD FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I just returned from our week long vacation at Nags Head and it was wonderful! We were so sorry to have to leave. The people, locals and tourists alike, were all wonderful and great and not one single person was rude. The beaches were clean and great, not too crowded. Plenty to do - soak up the sunshine, dine out, water activities, museums, and shopping. All wonderful, all great and I already can't wait to go back next year!!!!!!!!

We too just returned. As always the people we met were very nice and helpful. The local restaurants are so unique I really enjoy eating out there more than anywhere else. BOy it was HOT! Our rental had a pool and we used it everyday. BUt still nothing like sitting on the ocean. THe water down in Hatteras was in the 80's most every day. Glad you enjoyed your trip.

my family has vacationed at obx 4 times and have never had any problems! everyone has always been very polite! i have read other posts about locals being rude. i guess you get what you give. we are looking forward to our next visit!!

I agree! Having vacationed at Nags Head six times in the past ten years, my husband and I love Nags Head. The 700+-mile drive is well worth it, and I always get misty every time we cross the bridge over the Pamlico Sound. It's like coming home as we anticipate eating at our favorite spots (The Dunes, Mrs. T.'s Deli, Nags Head Pier Restaurant, Miller's), walking on the uncrowded beach, and taking day trips to Ocracoke and Duck/Corolla. We have never had a problem of any kind and have found the locals to be friendly and helpful. Nags Head might be for everybody--thank goodness for that! It's a very special place.
