Subject: What's the weather like in late March

We're staying the last week in March - wondered if we could even envision walking barefoot in the water???

March can be very fickle on the OBX. Tends to be windy and somewhat wet. Also can see some warm and beuatiful days though. Water will be cold - in mid-50s or so. You could probably walk barefoot in the water - we have many times in March - but your feet will be cold fairly quickly.

Bad time to come. I've lived here for 35 years. not a great time to visit. Very, very fickle as someone has mentioned. Usually cold and rainy.

I usually visit when my kids are on Easter break (week before Easter). I won't go in Marcvh anymore. Generally it is too cold, as is the water, and very changable weather.

I do visit in April, and the situation can be just as unstable, but I've had good experiences, with fair weather and the high temperatures falling in the mid 60's to upper 70's.

Good luck for March, and keep an eye on the forecast. Might be worthwhile not locking in to a trip until the last minute.

Im stayin at the end of march but genrally 3/4 of the trip is in the begining of apirl how would the weather be? Also will it rain alot like i heard?

expect the same weather as the northeast, PA/NY. Could be crummy, could be very nice, 70's since rental fees are extremely inexpensive its a chance worth taking. otherwise late Sept is always almost perfect weather
