Subject: Good take out seafood near Nags Head
10 adults & kids coming down 7/24 and staying between mileposts 10 & 11. First time to OBX and in the past Jersey Shore excursions we always did seafood takeout one night.

Any suggestions nearby? I saw a Jimmy's Seafood To Go but not sure about food in OBX.

Thanks,

Marc

Jimmy's barfett is an all u can eat place that serves blaa cheap food. Try Dirty Dicks, I guess they do take-out. Great Atlantic grill at the 10 mp might be another choice.

Whalebone Seafood Market
US 158, MP 16 1/2, Nags Head
(252) 441-8808
Whalebone is run by the Daniels family, known locally for their commercial fishing roots. The full-service seafood market sells whatever's in season. It's open Easter through October. Shipwreck Nags Head/Manteo Causeway, Nags Head (252) 441-5739 Shipwreck is another gift store with a nautical twist. Local crafts, driftwood, nets, shells, and other sea treasures are piled everywhere. It's open March through Thanksgiving.

Seamark at Mile post 14 in Nag's Head was good.

Also recommend a steamer pot which I think is available at Seamark or even the Food Lion.

Dirty Dicks Crab House, beach road, mp9, KDH. You can also buy one of their delightfully tacky T shirts there.

We have been coming to OBX for the last 6 years and always do a seafood night from the Seafood to go place in Timbuktu (not sure of name). They pack it all in a big bucket which you put right on the stovetop and cook according to their directions. Always comes out perfect and we really look forward to it.
