Subject: just back from obx
just returned, we had a great time. We stayed at the Hilton garden inn in Kitty Hawk. It was great, they need to work on there restaurant though, mostly staff. I enjoyed the food, but the staff all seemed young, and like there wasn't any supervisor around.

We enjoyed everything in the area.Stack em high is a great breakfast place that is always crowded, so expect to wait.
We hit traffic leaving Duck on a Thursday afternoon, it took us an hour and a half to get from corolla to kitty hawk.we had a great vacation, very relaxing.

We also had difficulties with staff at Hilton Inn--very unfortunate as the Inn itself is lovely--we own a home in Duck and had come down to leave gift baskets for our enters--hope the futue guests at the Hilton have a better time--watch the maids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought the food was good, we had dinner there. We also ate breakfast there, however i only had a sweet roll. The breakfast is a buffet. That was very unorganized. It seemed like most of the staff had other jobs taking care of refilling food on the buffet. No waitress approached us. I really think the restaurant is unorganized and needs a manager there to straighten things out. I'm not saying anyone was rude, just didn't seem like the staff knew what they were doing.

That hotel is brand new and management is trying very hard. They appreciate constructive criticism--a long service there has about 60 days length of service.
